01 // The Series

One series.
The whole shelf.

One 80 µm premium color vinyl, 110 SKUs deep — stocked as a single wall instead of several separate product lines.

7900 Series is our premium color vinyl for professional sign making. It is an 80 µm film with a permanent, clear acrylic adhesive that stays repositionable while the graphic is being placed, supplied on 1,350 mm × 50 m rolls.

The roll width is deliberate: it matches industry-standard cutting plotters such as Graphtec natively and gives more usable material per roll than the 1,260 mm rolls common in this category, so full-width work does not have to be tiled.

The line runs 110 SKUs in eight finish families — Gloss, Matt, Combat Gloss, Combat Matt, Pastel Gloss, Pastel Matt, Fluorescent and the newly added Metalized group (hologram, brushed and mirror chrome). A sign shop can hold one series on the shelf for logos, signage, retail graphics, interior decoration and cut lettering instead of stocking several separate product lines.

02 // Why Shops Switch

Seven reasons.
One roll format.

Why sign shops consolidate their cutting-vinyl wall onto 7900.

01
Eight finish families, one series.

Gloss and Matt each run 39 SKUs and are matched code for code, completed by Combat Gloss, Combat Matt, Pastel Gloss, Pastel Matt, Fluorescent and Metalized — including the macaron pastels and the metalized chrome and brushed finishes that are often only sold as separate ranges.

02
Roll width matched to the plotter.

1,350 mm × 50 m fits industry-standard cutting plotters natively and leaves more usable width per roll than 1,260 mm media.

03
PE-coated premium paper liner.

The release liner carries a polyethylene coating that keeps the adhesive layer even, keeps bubbles out and makes weeding predictable — including on large-format lettering.

04
Built for mirror cutting.

The liner is stiff enough to apply reverse-cut graphics from the far side of glass, wet or dry, without bubbling — a job most paper liners in this class cannot do.

05
Visibly higher gloss.

The gloss finishes are engineered to read brighter and more saturated than typical commercial color vinyl, a difference customers can see side by side.

06
Clean weeding and reliable transfer.

Waste removal and transfer-tape pick-up are tuned together, which is where most cutting jobs are won or lost.

07
Liner stock that holds up in humidity.

A specially thickened paper liner that does not go soft in humid climates, so rolls stay flat and cut accurately in tropical markets.

PE-coated liner

Keeps the adhesive layer even, keeps bubbles out and makes weeding predictable — and the thickened paper stock stays flat in humid, tropical climates.

Mirror cutting

The liner is stiff enough to apply reverse-cut graphics from the far side of glass, wet or dry, without bubbling — a job most paper liners in this class cannot do.

No laminate needed

Cut graphics on flat and lightly contoured surfaces are applied on their own. Deeply recessed panels and compound curves call for a conformable wrapping film instead.

Working notes

Apply large-format lettering soon after weeding. Store rolls flat, away from sunlight and humidity, and let media reach workshop temperature before cutting.

07 // FAQ

Asked before ordering

Three things: the 1,350 mm roll width, which fits professional plotters natively and leaves more usable material than the 1,260 mm rolls common in this category; the breadth of the range, with eight finish families including pastels, fluorescents and metalized finishes in one series; and the PE-coated liner, which is what makes weeding, transfer and mirror cutting behave predictably.

110 SKUs in total: 39 Gloss and the matching 39 in Matt, plus 4 Combat Gloss, 4 Combat Matt, 7 Pastel Gloss, 7 Pastel Matt, 4 Fluorescent and 6 Metalized (hologram, brushed and mirror chrome). Gloss and matt share the same color codes, so a design can move between finishes without re-specifying color.

Not for cut graphics on flat or lightly contoured surfaces — the 80 µm film is applied on its own, which also keeps the total build thin enough for wooden truck bodies and similar work. Laminate only if the graphic will face abrasion or aggressive cleaning.

Yes. The liner is engineered for reverse-cut work, so the graphic can be applied to the far side of glass wet or dry and still be free of bubbles when viewed through the pane. This is the main reason customers switch to this liner.

No. It is a cutting vinyl for lettering, logos and panel graphics. Full wraps with deep recesses and compound curves need a conformable wrapping film. For wooden truck bodies and similar flat panel work 7900 is a good fit and does not need laminating. Container wraps are a different job and are better served by a polymeric film such as our 9600 Series.
