About this series

The 7200 / 7300 Series is our transparent color vinyl in the compact 0.45 m (18 in) × 15 m format: an 80 µm gloss tint film with a permanent clear adhesive, sized for plotters and hand work on headlights, glass and curved decoration.

The two codes are two clarity tiers. 7200 is the Transparent family — ten gloss tints plus a matt finish — on a premium coated paper liner. 7300 is the Crystal Clear family: the higher-clarity tier on a premium PET release liner, which lies flatter and releases more cleanly for optical-looking results, and adds two Crystal Blockout shades in grey and black where light has to be stopped rather than tinted.

Because the film is thin and flexible, it follows uneven and curved surfaces — the reason it is the go-to for headlight and taillight tinting and colored window graphics.

What is the difference between 7200 Transparent and 7300 Crystal?

Clarity tier and liner. 7300 Crystal is the higher-clarity film on a PET liner — flatter off the roll and cleaner releasing, which shows in optical applications like lamp tinting. 7200 Transparent covers the same duty on a coated paper liner.

What are the Crystal Blockout shades?

Two SKUs — Crystal Blockout Grey and Black — that stop light instead of tinting it. They pair with the transparent shades when a design needs both tinted and blocked zones.

Can it be used on headlights?

Yes — headlight and taillight tint is the core application: the 80 µm film is flexible enough for lamp curves. Check your market's road regulations for lamp tinting before committing a customer's vehicle.
