About this series
The 7700 / 7800 Series is the wide-format tier of our transparent vinyl: the same 80 µm gloss tint concept as the compact 7200 / 7300 rolls, scaled up to 1.35 m (53 in) × 30 m for production plotters and large glass work.
7700 is the Transparent family — ten gloss tints plus a matt finish on a premium coated paper liner. 7800 is the Crystal HD family: nine higher-clarity shades on a premium PET release liner that lies flatter and releases cleaner, which is what high-clarity glass and automotive work notices.
The 1.35 m width matches our professional cutting-plotter format, so shops running 7900 cutting vinyl can feed transparent work through the same machines and templates — automotive decoration and colored window graphics.

How does 7700 / 7800 relate to 7200 / 7300?
Same concept, two roll formats. 7200 / 7300 is the compact 0.45 m × 15 m roll for lamp tint and accents; 7700 / 7800 is the 1.35 m × 30 m production roll for large glass and automotive work. Within each, the higher code (7300 / 7800) is the Crystal tier on a PET liner.
What makes the Crystal HD tier different?
Clarity and liner. The Crystal films read cleaner on glass, and the PET liner keeps the film flatter off the roll and releases more cleanly — visible on optical surfaces.
Can it run on a standard cutting plotter?
Yes — the 1.35 m width is our professional plotter format, the same as the 7900 cutting line, so existing feed and template habits carry over.
Is wet application recommended?
On large glass panels, yes — a wet apply gives time to position and squeegee out evenly. Smaller automotive pieces are commonly applied dry.
