About this series
MAXDECAL PPF is our thermoplastic polyurethane paint protection line: an ultra-clear, high-gloss film that takes the rock chips, scratches and UV so the paint underneath does not — and heals its own light scratches with heat.
The line is graded rather than one-size: eight SKUs spanning entry films rated for two to three years up to the MAX flagship builds rated up to ten years of outdoor protection. Film builds run 6–12 mil (152–305 µm) depending on grade, faces come in gloss, satin and matt, and the premium grades use USA-sourced TPU. Every SKU carries its own published TDS.
All grades share the working system: a self-healing, hydrophobic top coat over optically clear TPU, a temperature-responsive self-healing acrylic adhesive, and a PET liner — supplied on 1.52 m (60 in) rolls, with a 0.75 m MINI format for partial-coverage work.

Common questions
How do I choose between the grades?
Match the protection promise to the customer: entry grades cover value-focused and shorter-term jobs, mid grades the everyday premium install, and the MAX flagships the up-to-10-year commitments on premium vehicles. Each SKU's TDS carries its rating — quote from the sheet.
How does self-healing actually work?
The top coat is an elastic polymer layer: light scratches and swirl marks are deformations, not cuts, and heat lets the layer flow back flat. Sunshine or warm water handles most marks; a heat gun accelerates it in the bay.
What is the difference between PPF and a clear vinyl like VPF?
Construction and mission. PPF is thick TPU — 6 to 12 mil — with self-healing, built to absorb rock chips and protect paint for years. A clear PVC protection film like 9700-VPF is a thinner lamination layer for protecting printed and wrapped surfaces — it does not have the high-strength impact toughness of PPF.
Does PPF change the look of the paint?
The gloss grades are optically clear and add a wet-gloss depth while keeping the color true. Satin and matt grades deliberately convert or preserve a matte finish — that choice is the look decision, not a compromise.
