About this series
The Prismatic Series is our microprismatic lens reflective range — the technology tier above glass-bead reflective film. Prismatic lens structures return more of the light that hits them, which is why regulated road signage worldwide has moved to this construction.
Three sheeting grades ladder up the performance: MEGP Engineering Grade (ASTM D4956 Type II) in seven colors for general signage and delineation; MHIP High Intensity (Type IV) in seven colors including fluorescent yellow-green and fluorescent orange for work zones; and MDG5 Diamond Grade (Type XI), a full-cube construction in five colors for the most demanding sign specifications. All sheeting comes on a 122 cm (48 in) × 45 m roll with a permanent pressure-sensitive white adhesive.
The fourth family is the 6000 Conspicuity Series (MPET): PET prismatic reflective tapes in a 5.08 cm (2 in) × 50 yd format — the only 2 in format in the range, with sealed top and bottom edges — in ECE-certified white, yellow, red and fluorescent yellow-green, plus the alternating red/white DOT-C2 pattern used on truck, trailer and taxi marking.
A fifth family covers printed reflective work: 4010 Printable PVC Prismatic White (4000 series) is a high-gloss cube microprismatic PVC sheeting made for inkjet printing on solvent, eco-solvent, UV, latex and resin systems, on a 122 cm (48 in) × 45.7 m roll with a white, permanent, solvent-based acrylic adhesive.

Common questions
Which grade should I specify?
Match the sign class: MEGP Engineering Grade (ASTM D4956 Type II) for general signage and delineation, MHIP High Intensity (Type IV) where longer viewing distances and work-zone visibility matter, and MDG5 Diamond Grade full-cube (Type XI) for the highest-specification faces. When comparing brands, compare the ASTM type rather than the product name — grade names differ from maker to maker. If the tender names a standard, tell us and we will confirm the matching grade.
What certifications do the conspicuity tapes carry?
The 6000 Series MPET tapes are ECE-certified in white, yellow, red and fluorescent yellow-green, and the red/white alternating pattern follows the DOT-C2 truck-marking format.
How is prismatic different from the 3600 reflective series?
3600 is a general-purpose reflective PVC vinyl with an acrylic reflective layer — no ASTM grade is published, and it is made for cutting lettering, everyday signs and striping. Prismatic uses microprismatic lens structures that return substantially more light — it is the tier for regulated road signage and long-distance visibility.
Can the sheeting be printed or cut?
The sheeting is made for sign-face work: it can be cut to legends and overlaid following standard traffic-sign fabrication practice. For printed graphics, use 4010 Printable PVC Prismatic White, which is made for solvent, eco-solvent, UV, latex and resin printing.
