About this series
The 3600 / 3700 Series is our retro-reflective PVC vinyl: a film that bounces headlight and torch light back toward its source, keeping signs and markings clearly readable at night and in fog.
3600-MR is the sheeting family: 23 colors on a 0.61 m (24 in) × 45 m roll, with white, yellow, red, orange, blue, green and black also available 1.22 m (48 in) wide — the everyday reflective palette joined by less common shades, including a fluorescent yellow for day-and-night visibility. Its glass-bead retro-reflective construction is made for cutting: crisp detail by day and a reflective hit whenever light finds it at night — small lettering, thin lines and intricate artwork cut and weed cleanly on a standard plotter.
3700-MR is the stripe family: four pre-printed conspicuity patterns — red/white, yellow/black, red/yellow and white/yellow — on a wider 1.22 m × 45 m roll, ready to slit into the striping used on trucks, trailers, gates and barriers. Both families carry a white permanent acrylic adhesive on a premium release paper.

Common questions
How does retro-reflective differ from ordinary bright colors?
Retro-reflective film returns light toward its source — a driver's headlights come straight back to the driver's eyes. Ordinary color, however bright, only scatters ambient light; the difference at night is dramatic.
Can the sheeting be cut on a normal plotter?
Yes — cutting is what 3600-MR is made for. Its reflective layer is acrylic rather than PET, so it cuts and weeds fine detail cleanly on a standard sign plotter, and it can also be applied to glass. The film is stiffer than plain color vinyl, so slow the cut slightly and use a fresh blade for small lettering.
What stripe combinations are available?
Four: red/white, yellow/black, red/yellow and white/yellow — the patterns used for vehicle and barrier conspicuity marking, on a 1.22 m roll ready to slit into stripe widths.
Is this film certified for regulated traffic signage?
No ASTM D4956 grade is published for the 3600 / 3700 series — it is a general-purpose reflective vinyl for signs, markings and lettering. If a tender names an ASTM type, look at the Prismatic series (MEGP engineering grade meets Type II) and tell us the standard you must meet — we will confirm suitability first.
Is the 3600 series glass-bead or prismatic?
Glass-bead. The 3600 series returns light with retro-reflective glass beads behind the colored acrylic layer — the classic reflective-vinyl construction that stays thin, cuts cleanly and weeds easily. Microprismatic sheeting (our Prismatic series) is brighter and carries ASTM D4956 types, but it is a sign-grade construction rather than a fine-detail cutting film.
Which colors come 48 in (1.22 m) wide?
White, yellow, red, orange, blue, green and black (3610, 3621, 3631, 3635, 3652, 3660, 3670) are stocked in both 0.61 m (24 in) and 1.22 m (48 in); the other 16 colors are 0.61 m only. Width availability can change — confirm the color you need before ordering.
Can I get a sample and a cutting test?
Yes — request the 3600 color swatch set and run a cutting test on your own plotter before committing. Approve final colors from physical swatches, not screen images.
