About this series
This series is the transfer step of every cut-vinyl job: application tapes that lift weeded lettering and logos off the release liner, hold the layout together, and lay it onto the substrate in register.
Two tapes cover the working styles. MHT is the clear PVC application tape in a high-tack build with a top-coated face — see-through for exact positioning, unrolling smoothly even at the full 61 cm width, with the grip for small text, fine detail, films whose liners hold on harder, and fine-textured matte films that many application tapes fail to lift. MPP is the paper application tape — matte, hand-tearable and squeegee-friendly, preferred by shops that like the paper feel and flat lay-down on large text.
Slit widths from 5 cm to 61 cm mean the tape matches the graphic instead of the other way around.

- Squeegee the tape onto the weeded graphic firmly before lifting, and peel back at 180° when removing.
Common questions
Clear film or paper tape — which should I use?
Clear film (MHT) when you need to see the layout for exact positioning, and for wet application. Paper (MPP) tears by hand, lies flat on long text runs and takes water out of the equation. Many shops stock both and pick per job.
When do I need the high-tack MHT?
When the graphic will not leave the liner: small text, fine detail, films with tighter liner grip, and fine-textured matte films that many application tapes cannot lift. High tack lifts what medium tack leaves behind — just squeegee well and remove with a low, steady peel on delicate substrates.
Will the tape leave adhesive on the vinyl?
No — the adhesives are formulated for clean removal. Transfer, squeegee down, then peel the tape back at a sharp angle and the vinyl and substrate stay clean.
Which width should I stock?
Match your typical graphic: 5–20 cm for lettering strips and stripes, 30–61 cm for logos and sheet-scale layouts. Buying the right width wastes less tape than trimming a wide roll.
